MCS Certified Installer

Certified MCS Design

Cloverleaf Renewables is certified for MCS Design and MCS Installation.

Our dual certification in MCS Design and MCS Installation sets us apart, demonstrating our expertise and proven capability to design and install solar thermal and air source heat pump systems to the highest industry standards.

You can engage us solely as an MCS design consultancy service on a project or take full advantage of our full end-to-end design and installation service from concept, right through to handover. See our pricing page for MCS design consultant fees.

With years of practical experience working with a wide range of heat pump and solar panel manufacturers, we lean on this knowledge to design and install your perfect system.

Our system designs meet the MCS requirements for efficiency, safety, and performance, helping homeowners and businesses qualify for government incentives like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and achieve optimal performance from their new renewable energy technology.

Choosing the right tariff

During a scoping call, the most common question we hear is “Will switching to renewables actually lower my energy bills?”

It’s a very valid question and one we take very seriously.

As energy bills continue to rise at an alarming rate, we’ve recognised the importance of helping our clients understand their current energy usage before committing to a renewable energy solution.

Energy bills can be confusing, energy companies don’t always make it easy to see where your money is going. Gaining clarity on your current costs is a crucial first step before making any changes to your heating system.

That’s why, as part of our design service, we offer free expert advice to customers considering the move away from fossil fuels. Our goal is to help you make a confident, informed decision.

There’s a growing number of beneficial rates available now, such as preferential heat pump tariffs, off-peak tariffs, and export tariffs, that can significantly reduce your energy costs when implemented in the right way. Let us guide you through these options and help you make the smartest energy choices for your home.

Independent Experts

We’re independent, so you get the best system, not just the one we’re tied to.

We’re not tied to any one heat pump or solar brand, which means we have the freedom to design the ideal system for your home.

This flexibility allows us total freedom to choose the most suitable components from across the market, maximising performance, reliability, and, most importantly, ensuring your needs are met.

The perfect system for you

There’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solutions here.

Unlike some providers, we don’t push a single product or one-size-fits-all approach.

With so many heat pump options available, we take the time to find the system that truly fits your heating and hot water requirements so you don’t miss out on opportunities others might overlook.

It all starts with an initial enquiry

headset_mic1. Initial Enquiry

Our friendly office team will ask you a few key questions about your project to point you in the right direction.

Once we understand a bit more, we will guide you towards either a remote consultation, the heat pump wizard or straight to an on-site technical survey. The first call is all about gathering as much information as possible for us to work with.

conditions2. Remote Consultation Call

Our remote consultation, scoping call, is a free personalised discovery session.

It’s designed to help us gather as much information as possible about your circumstances and assist you in bringing your renewable energy ideas to life.

energy_program_time_used3. Boiler Upgrade  Scheme Eligibility

Before drawing up a design, we will check your eligibility for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant.

The £7,500 contribution from Ofgem towards your new air source heat pump installation can make a massive difference to your investment, and sometimes, it can be a deal-breaker.

sell4. The Provisional Quote

We use all the information we’ve gathered so far to create an indicative quotation for your project

This will be emailed with datasheets and brochures relating to the chosen products.

quick_phrases5. The Follow-up

A member of our sales team will be in touch to get your feedback on the provisional quote.

They’ll answer any further questions and discuss any adjustments needed to better align it with your budget or specifications.

inventory6. Technical Survey

Once you are generally happy with the price point and the advice you’ve received up to this point, we’ll proceed to the technical survey.

One of our MCS designers will visit your home for a more detailed inspection and refine our initial quotation. A technical survey will not be required for properties in planning and not built since all the information will be obtained via the architectural drawings.

calculate7. Heat Loss Calculation

Using all the data discovered by the technical survey, our designers will determine the correct size radiators or underfloor heating system needed to match our heat loss calculation.

At this stage, the heat pump size may also be adjusted if the provisional size chosen does not align with the building’s heat loss requirements.

signature8. The Contract

You will receive a final quote from us that reflects all our previous discussions, along with a proposal pack.

This pack contains all the necessary MCS-compliant documents to review and sign. At this stage, we hope you feel confident in signing your contract with Cloverleaf and scheduling your project. See our example of the proposal pack for reference.
